The Power of 31,000
This is an initiative of the British Union Conference (BUC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
On Saturday 25th September 2010 , the BUC in conjunction with the Conferences and Missions is asking every church, every member to set aside two hours to share the good news of salvation.

How can this be done? Churches should meet and agree the most appropriate method of sharing faith in their local context. One suggestion is to have a shortened service on Sabbath and to spend a couple of hours in the community with each person sharing the gospel or visiting at least 31 loved ones, then return to church to pray, testify and reflect over a meal.
Each church is free to implement the plan according to their local needs and what they feel impressed by the Spirit of God to do. We ask that the local churches use the resources that are readily available from Stanborough Press (phone 01476591700), the Adventist Discovery Centre (ADC), Conference or Mission, or BUC office.

Please prayerfully commit your time, talent, personal effort and influence into the hand of God to work in a distinctive, exponential manner as we seek to touch the lives of others. Sabbath 18th September 2010 could be used as a day of prayer for the forth coming week.
