Philippians 4:6-7Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Steps to Christ, p 93Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. Not that it is necessary in order to make known to God what we are, but in order to enable us to receive Him. Prayer does not bring God down to us, but brings us up to Him.
John 17:20, 21My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message that all of you may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I in you.
2 Chronicles 7:14, 15If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear in heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers...
Matthew 7:7-12And I say unto you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened... If you then, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Prayer is the Key to Revival and Reformation
Prayer ministry is inseparably linked with Bible study and telling others about God’s saving grace. Prayer and Bible study bring us into the very presence of God. It is here we are cleansed from sin and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be concerned and do something about the needs of others.
The twenty-first century Christian recognises the urgency of the times in which they live – the last days before Jesus comes again. To fulfil their God-given role, a revival and reformation must take place.
Revival is a renewal of the spiritual life. Reformation takes place when the Holy Spirit is allowed to change ideas and habits so the individual puts God’s ministry as their foremost goal.
The purpose of this webpage is to support the world church initiative of Revival and Reformation by:
Revelation 3:20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them...
Selected Messages, vol 1, p 121A revival of true godliness among us is the greatest and most urgent of all our needs. To seek this should be our first work... Our heavenly Father is more willing to give His Holy Spirit to them that ask Him, than are earthly parents to give good gifts to their children. But it is our work, by confession, humiliation, repentance, and earnest prayer, to fulfil the conditions upon which God has promised to grant us His blessings. A revival need be expected only in answer to prayer.
Testimonies, vol 8, p 251The time has come for a thorough reformation to take place. When this reformation begins, the spirit of prayer will actuate every believer, and will banish from the church the spirit of discord and strife.
Acts 1:14They all joined together constantly in prayer along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers.
Testimonies, vol 1, p 624It is the order of God that those who bear responsibilities should often meet together to counsel with one another and pray earnestly for that wisdom which He alone can impart. Unitedly make known your troubles to God. Talk less: much precious time is lost in talk that brings no light. Let brethren unite in fasting and prayer for the wisdom that God has promised to supply liberally.
